Material introduction |
High-quality quartz glass material with excellent heat resistance, high-purity, and permeability |
Quartz glass includes transparent quartz glass made from fused natural quartz crystal, opaque quartz glass made from high quality fused natural silica, and synthetic quartz glass made from high-grade silicon tetrachloride.
Quartz glass mainly consists of SiO2 and includes hydrogen and chlorine as Si-OH or Si-Cl (approximately 0.1% at maximum). It has few metal impurities, ranging from a minimum of 10ppb (10 parts per billion) to a maximum of 10ppm (10 parts per million). In addition to its high-purity, quartz glass has many useful chemical characteristics including high heat resistance, permeability, and electric insulation. |

Silicon is the second most abundant element on Earth next to oxygen. In nature, silicon usually bonds with oxygen and exists around us as a major component of soil and sand in the form of silica (silicon dioxide). Silicon, used as a semiconductor material, reduces to silica (separated oxygen) and can be highly purified through distillation and purification. It is an indispensable material in the manufacture of substrates for integrated circuits. Techno Quartz manufactures and sells silicon products for semiconductor manufacturing equipment without ruining the original purity of the silicon. |
